Spectrum Advantage is a community-based project under Autism Calgary that is designed to train, assist and support individuals (18-30) living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Spectrum Advantage provides the individuals with a continuum of employment and educational opportunities in order for them to gain meaningful and permanent employment positions.
The four month program includes four weeks of paid job readiness preparation classes specifically geared towards people living with autism, followed by a minimum of three months paid employment for program graduates. During the first three months of employment, both program participants and employers are supported by an ASD Human Resource Consultant/Job Coach.
