Anthony at your Service: ASEA Features Local Hero
Posted: September 6, 2012 in General Autism News
The Autism Society of Edmonton Area (ASEA) has a great story about Anthony Barrett, a low-verbal adult with autism, who has found a way to “learn new skills, meet new people, and make some money.” Anthony, along with his assistant Mikey Hamm and his mom, Deborah Barrett, have created a local delivery service called: Anthony at your Service.
Mike and Anthony’s YouTube video does a great job of explaining the new service:
Anthony Barrett, Mikey Hamm, and Anthony’s mom, Deborah Barrett, will be at the ASEA AGM on Tuesday September 18, 7:00 PM to talk more about this unique initiative.
