Meticulon Assessment Service (MAS) – Increase the potential of employability for teens with Autism
Posted: November 30, 2017 in General Autism News
Meticulon is embarking on a national project called the Meticulon Assessment Service (MAS). MAS is an initiative to expand the use of Meticulon’s world-class assessment process for use with young people with various abilities to allow them to effectively prepare for employment.
Through their regular intake process, Meticulon found many of their applicants were struggling to obtain or maintain employment because of a lack of employability skills – not because of their Autism. MAS is focused on the assessment of those skills. Meticulon doesn’t claim that MAS will improve communication, advance education or produce jobs, but by using a unique set of tools, MAS will focus on assessing employability skills and providing individualized coaching strategies for youth before they begin their journey into the work world. Mirroring the Meticulon toolkit development, MAS was created to increase the potential of employability for teens with various abilities, using a high-tech solution which includes a personal coaching guide…and now they are offering this solution to you.
If you are a parent of a teenager with high functioning autism, MAS can help you support your son or daughter’s progress towards further education, employment and independent living.
Meticulon has run a series of pilot groups and now they are ready for their first cohort in January!
