Since 2013, The Sinneave Family Foundation has collaborated with the Autism Spectrum Education, Research, and Training group at the University of Calgary (ASERT) to offer PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills).
The Adolescent (ages 13-18) and Young Adult (ages 18-25) PEERS® programs have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from graduates and parents alike. To date, PEERS® has assisted over 104 participants learn skills to develop and maintain social relationships. The Sinneave Family Foundation has been successful in expanding and exporting the PEERS® programs to ASERT, which is located in their newly established facility in the School Psychology area of the Faculty of Education at the University of Calgary.
We are so pleased that PEERS® will be offered at ASERT, and that the programs will continue to grow. For more information or to inquire about how you can apply for PEERS®, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
