Supplement Use in Children with Autism Research Study

The purpose of this study is to examine the various types of supplements used by children with ASD, assess the information available to parents and guardians regarding the health risks of supplements, and gain insight about the relationship between parents of autistic children and their physicians in regards to supplement use.
Step 1 – Inclusion Criteria
– In order to participate in the study, your child must be between the ages of 4 and 14 years and must formally been diagnosed with autism by a physician.
– Healthy control children will also be invited to to participate if they are between the ages of 4 and 14 years and have no cognitive or development delay.
Step 2 – Survey Questionnaire
– You will be asked to answer several questions via an electronic survey link about your child’s use of supplements. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes.
