The Sinneave Family Foundation opens a new centre, The Ability Hub

The Ability Hub is a purpose-built 17,000 square foot facility on the third floor of the Child Development Centre on the University of Calgary Campus, designed to host a breadth of programs and services for adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
Beginning in April 2011, Sinneave Family Foundation partnered with Society for Treatment of Autism to run a skills for life program at The Ability Hub called Pursuits. Adolescents and Adults over 13 years of age and across the autism spectrum participate in a 11 week program tailored to meet their needs and abilities, covering personal care, practical work and job interview skills and other independent living skills. The apartment within The Ability Hub is used to help clients practice day-to-day activities, from cooking to laundry.
